John + Madeline | Estes Park Wedding Photographer, Colorado Mountain Wedding Photographer | Estes Park, Colorado

When John and Madeline told me that they were going to have a vintage themed Wedding, I couldn’t wait to see the details!

I love Estes Park! It is a small mountain town with lots of character, and so when I pulled up to John and Madeline’s VRBO on their wedding day, I got so so excited (you’ll see why).  John and Madeline were getting ready in separate parts of the house with their favorite people.  It was such a joy to see both of their families there all together, celebrating such a beautiful day.

I remember talking to Johns mom and with tears in her eyes she said, “I only cry for ‘ness’.  Happiness, sadness, cheerfulness.  Today is so full of happiness”.

“Being a family means that you are a part of something very wonderful. It means that you will love and be loved for the rest of your life, no matter what”.  Everyone’s wedding day is different, and that is a great thing.  Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but that makes the day more memorable.  I always tell my couples that before the wedding.  John and Madeline were very go with the flow and whatever happens, happens.  They had fun, laughed a lot, cried a little and treated everyone like family.  To see that level of genuineness in two people makes me know that their marriage is going to be a beautiful one.

I want to thank both of you for welcoming me and my assistant, Micah into your family!

Take a look at more of my fun weddings and engagement session on the blog! There will be LOTS to come!

**Bonus:Leave these two some love! If they get 25 comments on this blog post, they will receive a complimentary 8×10″ print of their favorite wedding day image**

Venue: Dao House
Dress: BHLDN
Everything else: DIY
