Adam + Rande || Durango Wedding Photographer, Durango Elopement Photographer – Durango, Colorado

Adam and Rande are a couple that is always up for adventure.  They go hiking whenever they get the chance and always have a time planned to visit Durango.  Living in Texas, their hearts are clearly set for the great outdoors.

When I first skyped with Rande I knew we were meant to be (LOL).  As she was telling me all about their Durango wedding, and how they were renting a log cabin, and getting married at a campsite in San Juan National Forest, I got really excited. I could already imagine how amazing their wedding was going to be.  As you can see, I was exactly right!

It rained all day, into the afternoon, and you could see fog hovering over the mountains.  That is, of course, a sign of snowfall.  We kept waiting for the rain to stop so that we could start the ceremony, and as soon as we got there the sun started to show through.  Colorado is funny like that… “if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes” is the saying that I grew up with.

Their first look was amazing. The golden aspens all around them, the snowy mountains in the background.  It was a dream.

If you are looking to have your wedding day in Durango, anywhere in Colorado, or in the Rocky Mountains at all, then fall is the most gorgeous time of the year to do that. Who am I kidding?? Any time of the year is beautiful!

You can take a look at more of their wedding here!

I am still booking 2018 and 2019 weddings for Colorado, North Carolina, or anywhere around the world.  And fun fact: all travel expenses inside the US are included in my pricing, which you can find here!  If you have any questions please feel free to reach out and I would love to meet for coffee, or skype if you are far away.
