Stuart + Kayla || Colorado Engagement Photographer, Mt. Evans Engagement Photographer – Echo Lake Park Colorado

I have known Kayla since middle school, when she moved to Breckenridge from Texas.  She has always been outgoing and adventurous, so when her and Stuart started dating towards the end of high school I knew it was a match made in heaven.

Stuart and Kayla have been through Stuart leaving for basic training, and deployment, all while Kayla has been going through med school.  I have to say, their relationship is inspiring.  I have always had such a passion for the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and sharing that passion with my clients (friends) makes our connection that much easier.  Echo Lake Park is right at the base of Mt. Evans, one of the many 14ers in Colorado.  When it was suggested for another session, I was so excited!

If you have never been to Mt. Evans, you have to take a trip up there.  You can either hike it from the bottom, or drive to the top…and Kayla said that was one of the hardest hikes for them.

When Kayla reached out, she told me that their wedding is going to be in July at Windy Point in Summit County Colorado.  I know that their wedding is going to be one for the books- taco bar and all.  My husband and I are already planning on bringing our tents and camping out with everyone else.  After all, you can’t have a Summit High School reunion without camping.  That is one thing about growing up in a huge community of nature-lovers: when there is a wedding it’s going to be based on enjoying the great outdoors with friends.

If you are looking for an engagement or wedding photographer in Colorado, make sure you get in touch! You know that I always enjoy a good adventure.  Check out my wedding and elopement pricing here.
