Scott + Elizabeth || Breckenridge Elopement Photographer, Mountain Elopement Photographer | Breckenridge, Colorado

Scott and Elizabeth reached out a few months ago to tell me about their plans to elope in the mountains of Breckenridge.  Being from Summit County, I love being able to photograph elopements there, because I have dozens of spots that I can recommend.  These two decided that they wanted to say their vows by the dredge, and then take off to adventure around afterwards.

When I woke up and looked outside, I was surprised to see that it was dumping snow! I thought it might slow down by the time we started saying the vows, but it was coming down so hard that we couldn’t see the mountains in the background.  I think that that was a blessing, really, because Scott and Elizabeth loved it.  Elizabeth’s son, Coleson, was having a blast.  We walked in the snow, up to the top of a hill, and they all stood there together saying their “I do’s”.  It was quiet and calming, as the snow came down.

After the ceremony, all four of us (and Odo, my pup) went up to Hoosier Pass where the clouds parted and the sun came out for us to take some photos, and get stuck in knee-deep snow.  Scott and Elizabeth, your willingness to go anywhere, and your trust in me to take us to fun locations makes my job so great.  You are one of my favorite couples thus far, and I love that you live so close to family, too! That is another favorite part of my job, is making great friends out of great clients.

If you are eloping in Colorado, or doing a destination elopement contact me and we can adventure around wherever you would like! I can also give all of the fun recommendations! I am looking forward to hearing from you.
