Sean + Lisa | Buena Vista Engagement, Colorado Engagement Photographers | Buena Vista, Colorado

Sean has been a good friend of ours for a few years now. He lived across the street from us, and about a year ago moved up to Buena Vista, where he found Lisa.  So when they asked me to photograph their engagement session and wedding, was excited to say yes!

I got up at 4:30 and drove to Mt. Princeton for their engagement session.  On the way I went through rain, and snow over Kenosha Pass, and then the clouds parted right as their session started.  I had them dance, and say cute things, walk, and kiss.  They were incredibly fun-loving and we had a blast.  You can’t even tell that it was thirty degrees outside!

I tend to convince all of my clients to somehow step into snow that is at leas knee deep, and get a photo of it.  It’s a trend, but the photos are so fun! In Buena Vista in March, there is typically a lot more snow, and for Sean (me–I told him to do it) to find snow that deep beside the road was pretty funny.

We then went over to a lake and I had them walk on it.  I think I should have my couples sign a waiver haha. But they did wonderfully, and kept each other warm throughout our adventure. I also loved that Lisa is from the area, and knew so much history about St. Elmo (the ghost town that we also explored).

If you are thinking about having your engagement session, or eloping in a fun unique area of Colorado I have a long list of ideas.  Please reach out! Check out the other blog posts for inspiration, or go to the details page to check out options of weddings, elopements or adventures for us to go on!
