Kris + Jessica | Colorado Elopement Photographer, Adventure Elopement Photographer| Fort Collins, CO

Adventures are not for those who love to be inside and hate dirt.  Kris and Jessica are “rage hikers” if you ask them.  They moved so fast that my short little legs could hardly keep up.  And I didn’t think I was out of shape! Their elopement started by getting ready in a Westy van, a first look by the river, and a hike, with a couple of beers at the end.  Photographing their elopement is what dreams are made of.

As a photographer I get to see all different kinds of love–deep, intimate, best friend, soul mates.  These two were all of those.  They laughed and cried together.  Their first look was so, SO good.  Their family stood at the top of the stairs that led to the river and watched wiping tears away.  I may have even shed one (shhh). It was the sweetest.

So then they said goodbye to their family and we left for a hike before they drove off into the sunset (or rather, met their family for dinner).  Micah from And Two Were Tamed was the main photographer, and I was lucky enough to have assisted!

At the end of their hike they cracked open their beers and sat together on the side of the mountain taking in that they had just said “I do” in front of their closest family members. It was surreal to be away from the rest of the world, on an unusually warm day in March.  Micah and I just took photos and soaked it all in.

If this elopement made you say, “look babe! This is what I want!!” Then email me! Let’s talk. And remember, you don’t have to be eloping (or having your intimate wedding) in Colorado. The prices include travel within the continental US.
