Red Rock Engagement Session, Colorado Springs Photographer

Both Nick and Lauren have amazing hair and fun-loving personalities! I got lots of great smiles in Red Rock Open Space–what more could you want as a photographer?? These two were best friends who loved to hike, fish and camp together. They ended up falling in love and the rest is history!

We met right outside of Colorado Springs in a little open space called Red Rock. The wind was whipping, but these two were game! Big hugs all around, and Nick, Lauren and I were off!! Lauren was telling me all about how when she first moved to Colorado Springs, she would spend almost every day in here exploring all of the paths and spaces that Red Rocks had to offer. Nick walked along with her, they held hands and we just chatted like old friends. Guys, this is SERIOUSLY the best job.

Lauren owns Coralun Vintage, and her stuff is SO GOOD! She makes jewelry as well as has a store front in Colorado Springs! Don’t walk, run, to her store!!

Have you ever tried to love something less? When you feel silly, and think about how you can’t possibly pick all the things, and to be more selective, and limit your enthusiasm, because loving everything just seems a little over the top? Maybe even absurd?
What was ever so bad about being absurd? What was ever so bad about loving everything? Maybe judgement and discretion are what’s overrated. What if we were all a little more sincere with our enthusiasm and used it without limitation? Maybe with the use of enthusiasm in its fullest expression, life would be less limited?

Take a look around the blog. You might find the venue that you have been looking for or the floral colors that you've been looking for. At the very least you'll see a bunch of couples in love!
